Hello there! My name is Angelina, (but call me Angie, I hate being formal). I graduated from Bradley University, majoring in English and minoring in Women's Studies. I'm currently pursuing a second degree in Library and Information Technology, and I'm a Circulation Specialist with the White Oak Public Library District. Besides the obvious hobby of reading, I'm highly involved in ballroom dance, poetry writing, and embroidery, so feel free to ask me about those as well. I started The Bibliomaniac Files for one reason, and that is to share my love of the written word. I'm beginning to see that reading is becoming less common, both in the generations that grew up reading, and in the younger generation, many of whom have never read a single book. Books were my friends when I had no one else to turn to, and I want to share how many possibilities and ideas are available between the pages of novels, children's books, biographies, etc. What better way to do that than social media? Whether you've been an avid reader your whole life, or are just going into a library for the first time, I hope you find something worthwhile in this site, whether it be a new favorite book, some inspiration for your own writing, or just knowing that there are people who share the same interests as you do. I hope you enjoy The Bibliomaniac Files. Happy reading!
